[Lee Junghyuk’s Chatter Talk] He has truly entered a new era of his acting career. This is the "perfect utilization of Cha Eunwoo." Cha Eunwoo's fans would likely raise their thumbs high toward the PD and writer.
'Wonderful World' is demonstrating its viewership power in the weekend drama battle, which is more competitive than ever.
The 6th episode of the MBC Friday-Saturday drama 'Wonderful World', which aired on the 17th (Sat), recorded a nationwide viewership rating of 7.3% and a peak rating of 8.6%. Although this is a slight drop compared to episode 5, considering that the story is slowly getting on track, it can be said that it is performing very well.
In fact, at the beginning of 'Wonderful World,' voices of concern were as high as the expectations. Even if Kim Namjoo put on a "show of strength" with her acting, there were considerable points made that the overly heavy drama content did not fit current trends. The key point predicting potential struggles for 'Wonderful World' was that refreshing revenge dramas or punishment dramas, like 'Flex X Cop' or the recently concluded 'Knight Flower,' are what work these days.

Although Cha Eunwoo is loved for his heavenly visuals, the anticipation for a definitive 'one punch' in his acting career was high. In his previous work, 'A Good Day to Be a Dog,' he delivered a stable performance, and in the hit 'Island,' he showed off his remarkable action skills.
However, the character Kwon Seonyul in 'Wonderful World' marks a 180-degree turn from the characters that relied on his 'soft and perfect' visuals until now. He is a rough and reckless figure who seems to live life at rock bottom. Standing at the center of the mystery surrounding Kim Namjoo, he is an enigmatic character whose true nature—good or evil—remains unknown. It is a highly difficult role, but Cha Eunwoo is embodying Kwon Seonyul perfectly, as if he has finally found the role he was destined for.
In particular, one cannot help but exclaim at the wisdom of utilizing his unique vocal texture and steady delivery style to perfectly embody the character. The strange tension of holding unknown secrets in his heart while seeming to open up yet not open up to Kim Namjoo matches Cha Eunwoo's signature dialogue tone perfectly.

Of course, the fact that he still looks like a pictorial even when dressed roughly, with a beaten-up face and covered in soot, is a testament to his unhideable charm, but seeing the ratings jump whenever his screen time increases, the viewer favorability index seems quite high.
Moreover, it is no exaggeration to say that the final scene of episode 6 opened a new chapter in Cha Eunwoo's acting.
Previously, Kim Namjoo fell into confusion recalling the fact that the victim of the 'Pension Arson Fire' incident had a phobia of fire. Cha Eunwoo not only lit firewood casually but also had no scar on his left shoulder.
At that time, Cha Eunwoo, who visited the hospital room of the wife of the man Kim Namjoo killed, shocked viewers by placing the woman's hand on his face and calling her "Mom." Finally, Cha Eunwoo's veiled identity was revealed not as the victim of the 'Pension Arson Incident,' but as the son of the man Kim Namjoo killed.
Amidst this, Cha Eunwoo's expression, which seemed to show a slight smile that wasn't quite a smile, provided a chilling twist ending and delivered thrills. The expression flowing on his angelically beautiful face—looking both cold and incredibly pure—made us look forward to Cha Eunwoo's evolution as an actor.
